It began in mid-2021; it was meant to be an album, but it was never completed. I almost titled it Um Curto Ensaio Sobre o Impossível / A Short Essay on the Impossible.

It is not easy to adopt a mystical approach in digital production. The true possibility of unleashing—the frenzy that accompanies the instrument—slips away from us. We must, for the most part, remain sober and analytical in our decisions. Any sonic manifestation, no matter how formless it may seem, depends on an underlying order, one that ultimately restrains it. This is the sad secret of our expression: there is no unleashing, no true destruction. We merely simulate a careful, calculated illusion of destruction. As forms lose their shape, they affect us deeply, even as they continue to elude us. What is glitch, then, if not a lie—a deliberate contradiction?

The listener may surrender to this lie; the creator, however, is condemned to the paradox. A truth was revealed: the only genuine manifestation, or rather, the representation of it, resides in the denial of manifestation itself. To formulate without giving form, then, is the goal. It is no longer about pretending destruction but about denying the very illusion of pretending. This opens the door to emptiness, transforming music into an unfulfilled longing.

DANCING DEVIL! / DRUMS OF TOMORROW!

Thus, this work remained incomplete; it withered on the edge of desire, like a child who, admiring the waves, believed they could conceive the ocean.
